Continuing Education

Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and Society of Uniformed Services Physicians. The APA is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation

The APA designates this live activity for a maximum of 4.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits (TM). Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

CE For Non-Physicians

Non-physicians will receive documentation of participation stating that the activity was certified for 4.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits (TM). Documentation will also include the title of each presentation, the conference date, and number of hours of participation. We suggest that you retain each presentation's description in your records in case your licensing agency requires it.
You should be able to present this information to your licensing agency for continuing education credit, however, there is considerable variation between states and licensing agencies so we cannot guarantee that non-physicians will receive credit.
